In 2017, Christie founded Tech Ready Women Academy, an award winning education platform and network that provides women with world class digital training programs for technology and business. Since 2021, TRW has partnered with the NSW Government to deliver their Female Founder program attracting over 4000 applicants and 300 Alumni.

Crystal is a passionate leader, who loves the highs and lows of working hands-on in startups and sharing the experiences and knowledge to help others. Her experience extends to operations, business development, project management, company governance, research, pitching, and securing pre-seed investment. She is also an inventor with the Australian Innovation Patent.
